Programme Governance
The framework of decision rights, stage gates and assurance that keeps a programme in control.
Governance is what turns a collection of contracts into a controlled programme. It is the framework of decision rights, stage gates, assurance and reporting through which risk is surfaced, decisions are made at the right level, and leadership sees a single, trustworthy picture.
How I approach it
I design governance that is proportionate and real — clear decision rights, stage gates that actually gate, and reporting built backwards from the decisions leadership must make. The aim is a programme where the right people decide the right things at the right time, on evidence, with nothing material hidden until it is too late to act.
