Hudayriyat West is a major island-development programme forming part of Abu Dhabi’s wider Hudayriyat Island vision. Working Employer-side within the EllisDon PMC and reporting to the Programme Director, I lead the integrated controls function across its concurrent packages.
Outcome
A seven-volume Project Controls Management System set the common standard, and a Python-based Primavera P6 assurance engine lifted contractor schedule quality from around 25% to over 83% — turning schedule quality from a monthly argument into a baseline everyone worked to. On the programme’s velodrome project, forensic delay analysis reduced a contractor’s Extension of Time position from 426 days to 91 on the evidence, protecting the Employer’s time and commercial position.
