The controls challenge
Projects like this carry unusual technical and interface complexity — specialist works, difficult terrain and dependencies a conventional building programme rarely sees. As Planning Engineer with BAM International, I held a credible programme through that uncertainty and kept the record needed to substantiate delay and change.
The insight
On complex, first-of-a-kind works, the programme’s value is as much about capturing what actually happens as about predicting it.
