5-Minute Baseline Check

Seven quick questions on whether a baseline is a programme you could actually manage against — before you accept it as the control reference. It runs entirely in your browser — nothing is sent or stored. It is a practitioner’s prompt, not an engineering or contractual certification.

01Is the baseline formally accepted or approved under the contract?
02Is the logic complete — no activities left with open ends (missing predecessors or successors)?
03Are hard constraints minimal and justified, with dates driven by logic rather than constraints?
04Do the durations and sequence reflect how the work will actually be built?
05Does the critical path make engineering sense — running through the work that really drives completion?
06Is it coded (and calendar/resource-loaded as needed) so you can report and measure against it?
07Can you measure progress against it in a way that will mean something each cycle?
